Flying Vs Driving..................

In assessing the impact of a trip (about 300 miles each way), the environmental news website Grist.org calculates that driving would generate about 104 kilograms of carbon dioxide (CO2)—a leading greenhouse gas—per typical medium-sized car, regardless of the number of passengers, while flying on a commercial jet would produce some 184 kilograms of CO2 per passenger. Since there are 6 of us traveling driving is definitely better for the environment. Being on a budget the cost flying is much greater than driving even with the high gas prices. Flying 6 round trip with great air fare would cost at least $600 and driving cost $100 or a tank of gas.
